MECHANISM OF ACTION: Folic Acid, Vitamin B12, and Betaine stimulate the liver's methylation of homocysteine. Vitamin B6 stimulates the metabolism of homocysteine to cystathione, cysteine and serine. Aspirin has been show to decrease the risk of heart attack and stroke by 56% in men with elevated c-reactive protein (CRP).

Studies document that this unique combination of supplements can reduce serum homocysteine levels by 27 to 52% in patients with hyperhomocysteinemia.
